For most of us, July brings to mind Independence Day parades, fireworks, and backyard barbecues. However, many forget that celebrating our nation’s independence is not just a holiday, it’s also a privilege—one that we couldn’t enjoy without the hard work of our country’s brave servicemen, many of whom served during the recent wars in the Middle East. That’s why this July, we’re leveraging our popular non profit fundraising platform eBay Giving Works, to help Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). The IAVA is the first and largest non profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the 2.8 million 21st Century veterans. To achieve this goal, the group offers programs in four key impact areas: health, education, employment, and community building.
